Hi ! My name is Shashank Sabhlok. I am currently pursuing Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, and I am in the final semester of my sophomore year. I recently finished my second co-op term as a Software Developer in Test, for Savision in Ottawa. I was responsible for developing unit tests for their latest System's Centre Operations Manager HTML 5 Application, and at the same time write supporting code to repair the bugs I have discovered.
I am extremely passionate about technology and therefore in my spare time, I take the initiative to learn new languages and skills pertaining to hardware, software & electronics. Furthermore, after working at an 'established start-up' recently, I have also taken a liking to business & finance, and as a result not only have I joined the Finance Association at UW, to increase my knowledge in the field but have decided to pursue an option in Mangement Science. When I am not occupied with school or side projects, you will probably find me on the soccer pitch or at home watching a decent match of cricket and playing video games.
My AIM is to be part of a team of engineers, that completely revolutionize technology and therefore have an everlasting impact on the world !

Blockchain Analyst, Deloitte Management Services ( August 2015 - Present )
- Responsible for developing and maintaining team’s website (www.rubixbydeloitte.com).
- Participating in meetings with clients and incorporating their feedback into UI/UX prototypes, wireframes and slide decks.
- Delving into C++ implementation of the Ethereum platform, to fathom its limitations in relation to the Rubix project.
- Performing continuous environment scans and carrying out due diligence before key meetings.
Stochiastic Computing Research Assistant, University of Waterloo ( May 2015 - August 2015)
- Worked with Dr. Vincent Gaudet , to verify the logic of potential ASICs with RTL and FPGA boards.
Quality Assurance Developer, Savision (January 2015 - April 2015)
- Wrote various unit test for Savision’s latest application in C# and Selenium. Whetted the skill of being resourceful whilst operating in a start-up like environment.
- Developed the back-end logic for the homepage of the application in ASP.Net.
- Created LUA Scripts to generate fake environments that further aided the development and testing processes.
- Manually tested the entire application across all platforms and reported bugs to JIRA. Authored the complete testing documentation for the application.
IS Analyst, Service Desk, Maple Leaf Foods Inc (April 2014 - August 2014)
- Provided support to users concerning problems related to SAP, AS400, Cisco VPN, Windows,Microsoft Office along with
